Land Use/Zoning Committee Meeting <br /> September 3, 1991 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Motion made by D'Jock to approve the minutes of the August, 1991 meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Gillum. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Gillum to approve the Zoning Office vouchers in the amount of <br /> $1,859.21. Motion seconded by Melin. Motion carried. <br /> Flanigan would like approval to attend a fall WCCA conference in Superior on <br /> October 22-24, 1991. Motion made by McNally to approve Flanigan to attend this <br /> conference. Motion seconded by D'Jock. Motion carried. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Doug Crane, surveyor, asked the Committee to define the requirements for county <br /> plats. He says it is not clear in the ordinance as to what the exact require- <br /> ments are. He is doing work on North Sand Lake by Lakeview Bar and making <br /> several backlots. He would like to waive the monumentation requirements and the <br /> plat requirements. Swingle did some checking to set up criteria for county <br /> plats like CSM's. We need to define county plats in the ordinance book. <br /> Motion made by Gillum to approve Crane to use CSM requirements for a county plat <br /> and to use 1" monuments instead of 2" monuments. Motion seconded by D'Jock. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY SURVEY/LAND RECORDS <br /> Kathy finished discussion on her 1992 budget with the Committee. She noted that <br /> the 1991 county surveyor's budget is all gone. She has talked with Myron and <br /> she will take funding out of "Other Contractural Services" and put into the <br /> surveyor 's budget. She had contracts .for more than she has the budget to do. <br /> She has no new contracts right now, -but roadwork, reimbursements, etc. come up <br /> all the time and they need to be done. <br /> Surveyor/Land Records/Pilot Project total budget of $191,000. The Committee <br /> decided that Kathy should delete a $3,200 engineering copy machine. Motion made <br /> by Gillum to approve Swingle's 1992 budget in the amount of $189,000. Motion <br /> seconded by D'Jock. Motion carried. <br /> Kathy has been comparing Fire # signs between Lange and Decker Companies. She <br /> orders signs now from Lange. Meenon Township order their own signs from BSI. <br /> Gillum will talk with Lange regarding their prices. <br /> Motion made by D'Jock to approve 2 vouchers (telephone bill and an upcoming <br /> seminar) . Motion seconded by Gillum. Motion carried. <br /> The next Land Records/Surveyor meeting will be September 26, 1991 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> Kathy noted to the Committee that Mark Hurd has rescheduled and will speak at <br /> the October 24, 1991 County Board Meeting. <br /> Motion made by Gillum to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Melin. Motion <br /> carried.
