Crane <br /> Date: November 6, 2002 <br /> Re: Flood Plain <br /> Enclosed is a copy of a part of Panel 375 of the Burnett County FIRM or Flood Insurance Rate Map. It <br /> clearly designates that all the buildings of the resort and the road behind them are in the official flood plain <br /> or Zone AE. I would read this to be the easement road to the cabin that is south of the resort. Anything <br /> west of the road is designated as Zone X which is not in the Flood Plain for Clam Lake. Therefore, flood <br /> plain issues should not affect the proposed campground development as you explained it to me. <br /> Due to the fact that all the buildings are designated to be in the flood plain on this map, any work on the <br /> buildings would require compliance with the regulations. You will need to check with Flanigan at Burnett <br /> County Zoning on what you need to do to comply. I believe it is based on how extensive the remodeling <br /> work is. You should check this out carefully so you can develop your plans accordingly. <br /> At any rate, you will need a site benchmark or two along with the floor elevations of the buildings and a few <br /> ground shots around the buildings. I am totally swamped with work and would be doing a squeeze job to <br /> get you into the schedule at all this winter. Don't wait too long to commit. <br />
