Please be cautious with the 40' <br />private road setback. It is very close here. <br />Secondly, the Hervas property has a bit of a problem. I measured several times from the lake and have only been able to <br />measure 82 feet to the existing structure. This of course would say that the proposed 12' addition is at 70' to the <br />OHWM. However, if the addition is a windowless, screened porch (open -sided structure) we may be able to permit this <br />under the "gazebo law". Since it would seem that less than 200 square feet of open -sided structure would be going <br />within the shoreland setback. This of course requires a permit fee of $350 total (of which we already have 200 of), and <br />we would require the owners record a shoreland preservation/restoration agreement.
