I have not looked at the restoration plan,
but it needs to be followed and maintained as part of the CUP approval. You might need to keep it roped off for a few
years until the vegetation grows enough that people will not run it over again. If you have any questions about the plan
please contact Dave Ferris, I have cc'd him on this email.
Thanks,
Jason
-----Original Message -----
From: Eric Kramer <EKramer@hastingsmn.gov>
Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2018 10:55 AM
To: Buchholz, Shane <sbuchholz@burnettcounty.org>
Cc: Towne, Jason <jtowne@burnettcounty.org>
Subject: Re: Shoreline Buffer by Bar
Shane and Jason
I took the rope and flagging down that was around the buffet area. Lots of golf carts and side by sides drive down there
to use the boats. I will reinstall the rope and flagging and keep the campers off the buffer. The comment was made that the shoreline buffer is either too small per the requirements of the restoration plan
provided to the bar, or the buffer is virtually nonexistent.
Please, let us know if this is in error. The buffer is required, as it was a condition of the approval for the bar via a
Conditional Use Permit. We hope to work this out with you.
Shane Buchholz
Burnett County Zoning and POWTS Specialist Land Services Department
7410 County Rd K #120
Siren, WI 54872
715-349-2109 (Ext. 1366)
<image001.png>
