Krause
s. 236.16 (3) This section provides that for all plats abutting a navigable lake or stream, there be
at least 60' of public access at not more than one-half mile intervals as measured
along the shoreline except where greater intervals and wider access is agreed upon
by the Department of Natural Resources and this agency.
If there is an existing public access to Middle McKenzie Lake within one-half mile
of this subdivision, it must be identified on the plat by noting the width of the access
and the approximate shoreline distance from this subdivision to the access.
If there isn't an existing public access meeting the requirements of this section, a 60'
wide public access to Middle McKenzie Lake is required on this plat or a public
access waiver must be requested from the DNR.
s. 236.20 (2) (c) The 100.46' total length of the meander line crossing lots 2 and 3 should be shown.
An adjustment must be made so that the sum of the incremental lengths of the west
part of the south subdivision boundary totals 107.81' as shown on the plat.
An adjustment must be made so that the sum of the incremental lengths of the east
line of Outlot 1 totals 303.70' as shown on the plat.
s. 236.20 (3) (c) A Location Sketch that shows the relationship of the subdivision to the boundaries
of the 1/4 section and Gov't Lot in which the subdivision is located must be shown,
oriented the same as the main drawing.
s. 236.20 (4) (d) This section provides that lots shall have direct access to a public street unless
otherwise permitted by local ordinance. Access to lots within this subdivision is via
easement over lots 2-5, and by deed over adjoining lands.
Prior to our certification of the plat, you must provide us with verification from the
Town of Scott or Burnett County that local ordinance allows such lot access.
Verification may be in the form of a letter from the clerk or planning agency that
references the ordinance, or a copy of the ordinance.
s. 236.20 (5) (c) Approximate seasonal high and low water elevations must also be shown for Middle
McKenzie Lake and referenced to a permanent established datum plane or local
benchmark.
NOTE TO SURVEYOR:
-To help us, and other review authorities, track revised drawings, please include a revision date on each
Sheet of your revised drawing.
