November 27, 2018
Dear Jason Towne,
I would like to briefly share the history of our lake property. Forty years ago, my wife's
family (Krings) bought this old resort property, which includes three cabins. The cabin
addresses on County Road A on Oak Lake are as follows:
Mike and Sue Bothwell (Krings) — Fire #2837
Mike and Patty Krings — Fire #2839
Jan Carver (Krings) — Fire #2841
We are looking to make improvements to 2837, which includes adding minimal living
space, new siding, windows and roof. 2837 is a small cabin, 490 sq.ft. Situated approximately
240 feet from the lake. These three cabins are only seasonal, with no heat source, being used
five months a year.
Our neighbors to the East, Gary and Becky Ratts and family, are our very close family
friends and have owned their property for seventy years. Prior to building their year round home
that would block our lake view to the East; they considered our input/permission. We supported
their build, knowing our cabin will always stay seasonal. To our West, the first two adjoining
properties are also owned by family siblings for over thirty years, Tom and Lynne Yoch (Krings)
and Gil and Chris Motz (Yoch).
We are hoping to begin this project spring of 2019, and have it completed in a few
months. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerel
i e andS a Bothwell
Cell: 612-910-3912 (preferred)
Home: 651-777-6229
