Box 7969
Madison, WI 53707
Re: Herz] Camp
Asbuilt
Dear Mr. Russell:
In response to your correspondence dated October 7, we are enclosing
three copies of "asbuilt" sheet U-2. We have noted the elevation of
the top of each mound at each of three points. Mounds 1 and 2 are
quite close to planned grade while Mound 3 was built about 31' higher
than planned. This is do to a rise which the land surveyor's
topography had not noted.
With regards to the lift station, the rim is within 0.04' of planned
grade, but the floor was built 1.17' low. Similarly the floor of the
building is approximately 1' lower than planned. These discrepancies
apparently occurred when the building contractor determined the
proposed elevation for the building. The plumber logically carried
this grade through the septic tanks.
Whereas the lift pumps are considerably over designed in total dynamic
head, the wastewater treatment system should still function without
problem.
If you have questions on this, call.
Very sincerely,
Warren White P.E.
Enclosures
cc: Carl Lippert, Private Sewage Consultant
Jim Flanigan, Zoning Administrator
Brauer & Associates
Dave Burland, Camp Director
239 day road north, p.o. box 547, st. croix falls, wisconsin 54024 phone (715) 483-3010
