July 30, 2014 D ECO " E D <br /> AUG 1 2014 <br /> BURNETT COUNTY <br /> Burnett County Zoning Administration, ZONING <br /> Hi, this is Eric and Nicole DeCook at 30369 Berg Lake Trail, Danbury WI. Today we <br /> received a Notice of Zoning Violation from Jason Towne. We would like to do <br /> whatever we can to make this right. <br /> We purchased the property last fall after renting it from the previous owner. Our <br /> goal is not to own a full time rental property, but merely subsidize some of the <br /> ownership costs during the times we are unable to enjoy the property. <br /> Below are the step's we are and will take to keep this as a well maintain and <br /> managed short term rental. <br /> 1. We're taking the necessary steps to get in compliance. <br /> 2. We immediately removed the listing from VRBO <br /> 3. We've hired Glen and Teressa Gramer, they live at 6009 Robie Lake Circle, <br /> Danbury Wi. To Manage/Welcome/Over-See/Clean/Mow the property. <br /> You can reach them at 715-566-1577. Glen is a re-tired sheriff and he will <br /> make sure that our renters are in compliance with all our rules and <br /> regulations. Additional they are trusted by some of the property owners on <br /> the lake to maintain their properties as well. <br /> 4. We've provide use of our pontoon and in the future will not allow outside <br /> watercraft to help prevent the introduction of invasive species. <br /> 5. Our intent is to not rent the property for more than three consecutive <br /> weeks in a row allowing us to personally inspect and do any additional <br /> maintenance while enjoying our property. <br /> 6. The majority of our renters will be close friends and business relations. <br /> 7. We've sent a certified letter to all our neighbors and members of the Lost <br /> Acres Association with are contact info and are awaiting any comments and <br /> concerns. <br />
