I <br /> walked south of a line of vegetation here, so that's why it doesn't follow the photo. For the purposes of NR135 if it's <br /> more than 70%vegetative cover I would not count it as "active mining area" and I'm sure Rick would make that <br /> argument because that small area is pretty well vegetated now. <br /> Some of the other areas that are outside the red GPS line are arguably"active mining", however several years ago Rick <br /> had made the case that those were processing areas for concrete, etc and should not be included. We had the DNR <br /> program Manager come up from Madison at that time and help us determine what was and was not"active mine <br /> area".
