Describe variance requested:We would like to be able to add on a three season screen porch and <br /> additional deck to our cabin. We are asking for relief from the minimum setback allowed from our lake. <br /> Describe current use and improvements (Ex. Residential/Recreation; Cabinlgarage): <br /> Cabin is used by us throughout the year as a secondary residence. The porch will provide extra storage <br /> space and living space out of the elements. <br /> Provide description and location of all nonconforming structures and uses on the property: <br /> 16'xl2' 3 season porch will encroach on the setback limits (will be located on the East side of the cabin <br /> attached to cabin. 10'x10' deck structure will fall within the setback limits (will be located on the North side of <br /> the cabin extending the front porch). <br /> Provide Burnett County Ordinance standard from which variance is being sought(section number and text): <br /> Section 45-102 -Shoreland setbacks: Unless exempt under section 45-102(1), or reduced under section <br /> , or increased under section 4b-IU4, a setback ofeet from the ordinary high water marK of any <br /> navi9ahlP w;;tpr to the nParPst part of;; huilding or structure Ghall he mquirpri for all huildings anti structures <br /> Alternatives: (To be completed by the applicant): <br /> Describe alternatives to your proposal such as other locations, designs, and construction techniques. Attach a site map showing alternatives you considered in each category below. <br /> a. Alternatives you considered that comply with existing standards.
