It's the most basic plan that meets the letter
of the law. So yes, they do have a Reclamation plan on file. The increased acreage here did not bump them up into the
next size category, they have been paying at 16-25 Acres for this pit-$770.00. 1 currently have it measured at 17
acres. They have plenty of financial assurance in place to cover this increase in acreage.
It's not much of a blip on the screen for NR135 requirements. I'll swing by there today and grab a few photos.
Thanks,
Paul
From:Towne,Jason <jtowne@burnettcounty.org>
Sent:Thursday, May 23, 2019 9:08 AM
To: Cook, Paul <pcook@burnettcounty.org>
Cc: Ferris, Dave <dferris@burnettcounty.org>
Subject: Hopkins Pit
Paul,
Please do a site visit to verify if"mining activity" is taking place on parcel with tax id: 33138, take some pictures. Are
they paying for this acreage and is there a reclamation plan for it. There is no CUP for mining on this parcel.
Thanks,
i
