Two items are <br /> listed as potential violations. The first is the submittal of a soil test report along with the <br /> permit application for a privy. The second is regarding the construction of the driveway. <br /> My building permit was issued on October 24, 1995. I received notice that my driveway <br /> construction was inspected on November 1, 1996 (9 days after building permit was issued) <br /> and that it did not meet some of the construction specifications recommended by the fire <br /> department. I basically disregarded this notice because the building permit indicated that <br /> I had 60 days to complete the driveway improvement work. I fully intended to have the <br /> driveway constructed prior to the freeze up last November. I just could not secure the <br /> contractor in time to have the grading completed. I do have a good friend who has the right <br /> equipment to construct the driveway and he has indicated that I will be able to use it as soon <br /> as I need it this coming spring. <br /> In regards to the soil test and privy permit, I was not able to arrange for an acquaintance <br /> to perform the required analysis. <br /> I do understand the necessity of having the potential violations corrected as soon as possible. <br /> I suggest that the completion of the driveway requirement and the soil test report deadline <br /> be extended until June 15, 1996. This will allow for sufficient time for me to complete the <br /> work this coming spring.
