-- Resolution No. PC10-01 <br /> RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> TO ADOPT THE VILLAGE OF GRANTSBURG YEAR 2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to sections 62.23(2) and (3),Wisconsin Statutes, for cities, villages, and those <br /> towns exercising village powers under section 60.22(3), the Village of Grantsburg is authorized to <br /> prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan consistent with the content and procedure <br /> requirements in sections 66,1001(1)(a), 66.100](2), and 66.1001(4);and <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Grantsburg Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan consists of two documents <br /> "- (attached hereto): the "Plan Recommendations Report," and the "Inventory and Trends <br /> Report;" and <br /> WHEREAS, a Plan Commission was established by the Village Board and participated in the <br /> production of Village of Grantsburg Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan in conjunction with a multi- <br /> jurisdictional planning effort to prepare the Burnett County Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, numerous forums for public participation have been provided including public <br /> informational meetings, open Plan Commission meetings, public opinion surveys, news releases, <br /> newsletters, and a planning process web site. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Village of Grantsburg Plan Commission hereby <br /> recommends that the "Recommended Plan"of the Village of Grantsburg Year 2030 <br /> Comprehensive Plan and plan adoption ordinance are filed with the governmental units <br /> specified under section 66.1001(4)(b)and (c),and are discussed at a public hearing required <br /> under section 66.1001(4)(d); and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village of Grantsburg Plan Commission.hereby recommends <br /> that, subject to the public hearing on the "Recommended Plan" and incorporation of plan <br /> revisions deemed necessary as a result of the public hearing or comments received from <br /> governmental units with which the plan was filed, the Village Board adopt the Village of <br /> Grantsburg Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan by ordinance in accordance with section 66.1001, <br /> Wisconsin Statutes, <br /> ADOPTED this 1ST day of March,2010. <br /> Motion for adoption moved by: D P n n i G A 1 1 a m a n <br /> Motion for adoption seconded by: Tim Fvrarr9 <br /> Voting Aye: _6 Voting Nay: _n <br /> (; /Y <br /> Roger H. nek, Sr. <br /> Village Pre ident/Plan Commission Chair <br /> TTES <br /> Jenni r Zeile C k <br />
