The real viable alternative is to reconstruct the boardwalk at
a higher elevation.
All seepage lakes are extremely high, and will likely be higher this spring if we get a fast spring melt.
If you wish to speak with me, my number is below.
Regards, Dan
We are committed to service excellence.
Visit our survey at http://dnr.wi.gov/customersurvey to evaluate how I did.
Dan Harrington
Phone: (715)733-0019
Dan.Harrington@Wisconsin.gov
From: Chad Libby<chad.libby77@yahoo.com>
Sent:Saturday, February 15, 2020 11:59 AM
To: Harrington, Dan - DNR<Dan.Harrington@wisconsin.gov>
Cc: Mark Gruenhagen <markgruenhagen@yahoo.com>; Ann Gruenhagen <agruenhagenl@gmail.com>
Subject: Inquiry
Dan,
We have a cabin in Camp Daniel over here in Danbury, and I'm the President of the Camp Daniel Association. We
purchased our property in 2012. There are 6 property owners who have deeded lake access to Ham Lake. As many in the
area are experiencing, we have excessive flooding due to high lake levels -to the point that the bridge leading to our
deeded lake access is under water and impassable. We are at a point where we want to know what our options for
regaining our deeded access. I spoke with Dave at the Burnett County Zoning office and he referred me to you.
I'm attaching some photos to show you before the water levels rose and after. We anticipate the water levels will stay at
it's current level or get worse based on the fact that Ham Lake is a seepage lake. I'm wondering if you have availability to
meet to discuss this during the week of March 21-29?
1 look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your time.
Thanks,
Chad Libby
612.964.5769
1
