Land Use and Information Committee Meeting <br /> February 4, 2020 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING County Surveyor/Land Information Director/Zoning Administrator Jason <br /> Towne read the Notice of Public Hearing as published in the Burnett County Sentinel on January <br /> 8 and 15, 2020. <br /> BURNETT COUNTY LAND USE /SHORELAND PROTECTION ORDINANCES <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #CUP-20-05 — MALEC Public notice is hereby given to all <br /> persons in the Town of Scott, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Marilee Malec has made <br /> application for a conditional use permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use and <br /> Shoreland Protection Code of Ordinances to allow a camper year-around for up to three years, <br /> located at 1030 County Rd. E, in the RR-3 zoning district, Lot 4 CSM V. 25 Pg. 207, in <br /> Government Lot 6, Section 24, T4ON R14W. <br /> Marilee Malec is requesting to keep her camper on the property. She does have plans to build a <br /> cabin. <br /> Public hearing opened. <br /> Don Hamilton applauded the applicant for sending letters to the neighbors. It is a residential area <br /> and not a commercial business area. He is in support of the CUP if they have the appropriate <br /> septic system and build a house or cabin for tax base purposes. <br /> Leo Beitz approves of the CUP and could not ask for better neighbors. <br /> Public hearing closed. <br /> Chairman Bickford questioned the three-bedroom home,which was torn down. <br /> Ms. Malec stated the current septic system has been inspected and approved. <br /> Mr. Malec would like to build a home and retire here. <br /> Burnett County Staff Report Item — If considering approval then the following item(s) may be <br /> included in the motion; these are part of the guidelines from the staff: <br /> 1. Only one camper allowed on the parcel. <br /> 2. Septic system evaluation should be done and filed with the county by 06/01/2020. <br /> 3. Shoreline will need to be restored to meet the requirements of the shoreline incentive <br /> program. Parcel was enrolled in the shoreline incentive program per document #331131, <br /> recorded on 06/16/2000. <br /> 4. Follow all local, county, state and federal requirements for this activity. <br /> Motion to approve Conditional Use Permit #CUP-20-05 —Malec subject to recommendations of <br /> the staff was made by Supervisor Paden, seconded by Supervisor Fisher. Motion carried, voice <br /> vote. <br /> LAND SERVICES—ZONING AND PROPERTY INFORMATION DIVISION REPORTS <br /> Land Services Director Jason Towne reviewed submitted department reports and answered <br /> committee questions.
