Box 326 <br /> Siren, WI 54872 <br /> Subj: Industrial Wastewater Holding Tank for the Town of Wood River <br /> L I <br /> 51s6,0�� bG pWn o7 ��� Ive47- � <br /> Dear Mr. Daniels: s <br /> The Department of Natural Resources as received and reviewed your recent transmittal of completed WDNR Form <br /> 3400-185 for your proposal to insta One concrete wastewater holding tank manufactured by Weiser Concrete at <br /> 11610 State Road 70 in the Village of Grantsburg\Nisconsin. The tank will have a 2,500-gallon capacity and will hold <br /> industrial wastewater generate from wash water and precipitation runoff from vehicle and equipment storage <br /> areas, and possible incidental drippage of motor vehicle fluids. The owner of the holding tank will be the Town of <br /> Wood River. <br /> According to your submitted form,the wastewater to be contained in the proposed holding tank will be hauled by <br /> Grantsburg Sanitary Service to the Village of Grantsburg Wastewater Treatment Plant for ultimate treatment and <br /> disposal. Based on this review,the proposed installation is acceptable to the Department of Natural Resources. <br /> As part of this acceptance, please review and discuss the conditions of approval with the tank owner, as <br /> outlined on page 3 of WDNR form 3400-185, prior to installation and startup of the proposed holding tank. <br /> With respect to Condition 4,the holding tank does not meet the requirements for the underground storage of <br /> petroleum; as regulated by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture,Trade, and Consumer Protection; and <br /> must be immediately pumped out if more than a de minimis amount of petroleum is to enter the tank. <br /> Please note that the Department of Safety and Professional Services is responsible for review and approval of any <br /> catch basins, sewer lines/connections, and other plumbing appurtenances associated with the installation of the <br /> proposed holding tank, as well as the use of the proposed holding tank for storing sanitary wastewater. <br /> If you have any questions concerning this approval, please contact Cole Litsey,WDNR Madison office, at <br /> (608) 264-6045. <br /> STATE OF WISCONSIN <br /> DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES ECEOVED <br /> For the Secretary <br /> eb MAY 14 2020 <br /> Cole C.
