Ordinance No. <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE TOWN OF SIREN Year 2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />The Town Board of the Town of Siren, Burnett County, Wisconsin, does ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to sections 60.22(3) and 62.23(2) and (3), Wisconsin Statutes, the Town <br />of Siren is authorized to prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in sections <br />66.1001(1)(a) and 66.1001(2), Wisconsin Statutes. <br />SECTION 2. The Town Board of the Town of Siren has adopted written procedures designed <br />to foster public participation in every stage of the preparation of a comprehensive plan as <br />required by section 66.1001(4)(a), Wisconsin Statutes. <br />SECTION 3. The Town of Siren Plan Commission, by a majority vote of the entire commission <br />recorded in its official minutes, has adopted a resolution recommending to the Town Board the <br />adoption of the document entitled "Town of Siren Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan" containing <br />all of the elements specified in section 66.1001(2), Wisconsin Statutes. <br />SECTION 4. The Town of Siren has provided numerous opportunities for public involvement in <br />accordance with the Public Participation and Education Plan adopted by the Town Board and <br />Burnett County Board including public informational meetings, open Plan <br />Commission/Committee meetings, public opinion surveys, news releases, newsletters, and a <br />planning process web site. A public hearing was held on March 29, 2010, in compliance with <br />the requirements of Section 66.1001(4), Wisconsin Statutes. <br />SECTION 5. The Town Board of the Town of Siren does, by the enactment of this ordinance, <br />formally adopt the two documents composing the "Town of Siren Year 2030 Comprehensive <br />Plan" (including the "Plan Recommendations Report" and the "Inventory and Trends Report") <br />pursuant to Section 66.1001(4)(c), Wisconsin Statutes. <br />SECTION 6.
