{ <br /> (f) The maintenance and repair of existing <br /> nonconforming boathouses which extend beyond the <br /> ordinary high water mark shall comply with the <br /> requirements of Section 30. 121, Wisconsin Statutes. <br /> SECTION 6. 0 REGULATION OF SPECIAL USES/CONDITIONAL USE <br /> 6. 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> Except as added to or hereafter altered in the section, the <br /> procedures and requirements of Section 8 . 0 governing <br /> conditional uses shall apply. <br /> 6.2 QUARRIES AND MINES <br /> (1) Application Required: <br /> Application requesting County Land Use/Zoning Committee <br /> approval of a proposed quarrying activity shall be <br /> accompanied by: <br /> (a) A description of all phases of the contemplated <br /> operation including types of machinery and <br /> equipment which will or might be necessary to carry <br /> on the operation. Where the operation is to <br /> include sand and gravel washing, the estimated <br /> daily quantity of water required, its source and <br /> its disposition shall be identified. <br /> (b) A legal description of the proposed site. <br /> (c) A restoration plan as hereinafter required. <br /> (2) Consideration of Compatibility: <br /> In reviewing a proposal for a quarrying activity, the <br /> County Land Use/Zoning Committee shall take into <br /> consideration: <br /> (a) The effect of the proposed operation on drainage <br /> and water supply, particularly in connection with <br /> sand and gravel washing. <br /> (b) The possibility of soil erosion as a result of the <br /> proposed operation. <br /> (c) The most suitable land use for the area. <br /> (3) Restoration Plan and Financial Guarantee Required: <br /> 47 <br />
