We will be replacing two old wooden bridges that were placed on the land back in the late
1950s,we believe. The first bridge is currently over a 13 foot wide river that is two feet above the
water. The water level is 11 inches. The second bridge is currently over a 13 foot wide river that is two
feet above the water. The water level is 8 inches. Both bridges will span the North fork of the Wood
River. frhe old wooden structures will be removed and replaced with new bridges that are constructed
of steel and wood. When the new bridges are placed no trees will be removed and we will not be
changing any landscaping. Both new bridges will be sitting on top of the ground.
The new bridges will both be constructed of exactly the same materials. The material are:
2-14"x 22#I-BEAM 20',9.5-4"C-CHANNEL 20',2-8"x 3/8"FLAT 20',2-2"SCHEDULE 40 PIPE 20',
4-2"SCHEDULE 40 PIPE ELBOWS,4-1/2"WELD ON D-RINGS,and 15-2"x 8"TREATED 20'. Both bridges
will be two I-beams 14"tall and about 80"apart from center to center and 4"c-channels 108"wide.
Every 16"and 3/8"x 8"plates will be welded on the outside of the c-channels.
