Nesgoda, Jonna
From: Cook, Paul
Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 1:00 PM
To: Nesgoda, Jonna
Subject: updates on old referrals from your department
Jonna:
Here are some... sorta old now, updates from Zoning referrals. Just so you know, we didn't ignore them, just got way backed up
this year (2009) on reporting to you, with no Cheryl.
Karen Rich and Delora Hoeft—038-9350-01-900: Needed buffer check for Land Use Permit, addition to non-conforming
structure. The buffer was OK, but will need to be spot checked in 2010 as some spots needed a bit of natural recovery.
B Mckenzie LLC-028-9186-01-200: Needed buffer check as they had illegal structures. No plan for restoration was sent
because there is no way to ensure they carry it out if they already have their structures in place and "after the fact" permits, this
is a ghost I'm not going to chase..... we need buffer commitment prior to offering after the fact permits OR we need to issue
violations and require buffers as a condition of not being in violation of the shoreland ordinance.
i
