\\ Ai 1
Towne, Jason
From: Steve Dimmick <dimmick68@gmail.com>
Sent: Sunday, November 22, 2020 4:53 PM
To: Towne, Jason
Subject: Lake Little Bear in Voyager Village
I was told you're the one I should email about the new boat slips (supposedly)being added to Little
Bear. Already we have 4 slips with 12 to 14 boats on each slip. Being that Lake LITTLE Bear is only 160 acres
and most boats are launched from the private boat launch it gets quite busy on the summer weekends. All my
neighbors just launch when needed and the slips are rented to people who don't live on the lake. This is fine
until you add everyone's visitors with Jet skis and towing the kids on tubes. I myself won't go on the lake as it's
dangerous. Accidents are bound to happen with this much activity.
That is my smallest concern. Wildlife seems to be disappearing. Where have the loons gone, the swans and
the otters who play near shore. Ducks and geese get scared off with all the traffic. When I first came to Little
Bear I thought this is like Canada! No docks, no boat slips and Loons calling out to each other.
I'm even more afraid of the my deepest concern. Invasive species that will ruin the lake forever. Once that
happens, the docks will go away, the people, the beach and the habitat. Jason we could use your help! This is not
a public lake and the people who manage it are only looking at dollars with no sense. Help us,help you and save
our Lake!
Steven J Dimmick.
29766 Little Bear Drive
Danbury Wisconsin
54830
i
