BURNM COUNTY
ZONING
Dear Harold and Dianne,
The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has received and reviewed the
documentation you have provided regarding your request for a campground expansion plan review, West
Point Lodge Campground, 1150 West Point Road -Spooner-Burnett County. After a careful review of your
documentation and plans it has been determined that they satisfy the requirements of Wisconsin
Administrative Code ATCP 79.
Your plans are approved for the addition of 15 sites (sites 21-35) to the existing campground based on a plan
review application received April 5, 2017. The 15 new sites are to have water and sewer at the sites; existing
toilets are sufficient to accommodate the additional sites. A new well has been added and negative/safe
water sample is in the plan review packet.
While obtaining this plan review is the first step in the process, it is not the only requirement you must meet.
When you inspector is onsite to review the additional camping sites if you have moved into a higher billing
category you will need to pay for the license upgrade.
A copy of the approved plans shall be on-site during construction and open to inspection by authorized
representatives of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
In granting this approval the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, reserves
the right to require changes or additions should conditions arise making them necessary for compliance to the
ATCP 79 Campgrounds.
Agriculture generates$88 billion for Wisconsin
2811 Agriculture Drive • PO Box 8911 • Madison,Wl 53708-8911 • Wisconsin.gov
An equal opportunity employer
