. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> A Public Hearing will be held before the Burnett County Board of Supervisors on <br /> Thursday, July 15, 1976 at 1:15 p.m. at the Burnett County Court House, Grantsburg, <br /> Wisconsin, regarding the following proposed amendments to the Burnett County Land Use <br /> Districts and Ordinance: <br /> #1 — Section 6.5 (1) The minimum square footage in all districts shall be the same as other <br /> dwellings. <br /> Explanation: This change increases the size of mobile homes from a minimum of 400 square <br /> feet at present to a minimum of 500 square feet for a one bedroom, 600 for a two bedroom and <br /> 700 for a three bedroom, etc. <br /> #2 — A-1 Agricultural district <br /> (b) Uses authorized by Conditional permit: <br /> (5) Single mobile homes in shoreland areas shall be allowed by Conditional permit when <br /> the lot contains a minimum of a 300 foot width and is at least five acres or greater <br /> in size. <br /> #3 - A-2 Agricultural—Residential district <br /> (b) Uses authorized by Conditional permit: <br /> (2) A single mobile home provided the lot area and setback requirements of this district <br /> and the provisions of 6.5 are met. Single mobile homes in shoreland areas shall be <br /> allowed by Conditional permit when the lot contains a minimum of a 300 foot width <br /> and is at least five acres or greater in size. <br /> Explanation: This would permit the Conditional use of mobile homes in shoreland areas that <br /> are in an A-1 Agricultural district or A-2 Agricultural—Residential district. <br /> #4 — C-1 Commercial district <br /> (17) Essential services and utilities intended to serve a permitted principal use on the <br /> premises. <br /> #5 — I-1 Industrial district <br /> (4) Essential services and utilities intended to serve a permitted principal use on the <br /> premises. <br /> Explanation: This change would result in eliminating any grey area for utility company <br /> hookups, however this does not, and is not intended, to include such items as high power <br /> transmission lines, etc. These would still be conditional uses. <br /> #6 Residential district <br /> a) Permitted uses: <br /> 1) One family and two family ar around and seasonal dwellings. <br /> 2 Private garages and carporyets. <br /> 3) Essential services and utilities intended to serve the principal permitted use. <br /> 4) Signs subject to the provisions of Section 5.0. <br /> (5) Horticulture and gardening. <br /> (6) Customary accessory uses provided such uses are clearly incidental to the <br /> principal use and that no such use generates traffic or noise that would create <br /> a public or private nuisance. <br /> (b) Uses authorized by Conditional permit: <br /> (1) Telephone and power transmission towers, poles and lines, substations, relay <br /> and repeater stations, equipment housing and other necessary appurtenant <br /> equipment and structures. <br /> (2) Home occupations or professional offices provided no such uses occupies more <br /> than 25% of the total floor area of the dwelling, not more than one nonresident <br /> person is employed on the premises, and such use will not include an operational <br /> activity that would create a nuisance to be otherwise incompatible with the <br /> surrrunedi . residentia area. <br /> Explanation: The of Residential district will add to the present permitted <br /> uses by providing for seasonal dwellings. The uses authorized by Conditional permit will be <br /> changed to eliminate the existing: <br /> rMulti—family (3 or more) dwelling units. <br /> Rooming or boarding houses. <br /> (3) Mobile home parks subject to the provisions of Section 6.0. <br />
