BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING — JUNE 7, 1971 <br /> The meeting was called to order by chairman J. Plesums at 8:05 <br /> P.m. The members present were: J. Plesums, G. Johnson, A. Hansen, <br /> L. Sauerbry, and A. McKinley. A motion was made by Gregory Johnson <br /> and seconded by Leroy Sauerbry to accept the minutes as read. The <br /> motion was carried. 4.)„ <br /> e' <br /> Mr. Patrick Mooney made a request to construct an addition of <br /> approximately 18x28 ft. and it would protrude 6 ft. closer to the <br /> lake than the present structure, which is only 40 ft. back from the <br /> lake. The letter was introduced by Zoning Administrator, Truman <br /> Smith, from Ted Lauf, Shoreland Planner, which states that in cases <br /> of building an addition to a substandard setback structure, the <br /> policy is not to grant construction which would make the structure <br /> more substandard. <br /> A motion was made by Greg Johnson and seconded by Allen McKinley <br /> that the request by Patrick Mooney to build an addition to the building <br /> which has two substandard setback and which would increase the <br /> substandard setback from the lake be denied. The motion was carried <br /> with 5 "yes" votes and 0 "no" votes. <br /> The motion to adjourn by L. Sauerbry was seconded by Allen Mckinley. <br /> The motion was carried. <br /> Axel Hansen, Secy. <br />
