<br /> 15 ARTICLE I. - IN GENERAL
<br /> 16 Sec. 30-1. -Authority.
<br /> 17 Pursuant to the authority granted in Wis. Stats. §§ 59.69, 59.694, 87.30, and 91.30, the county board
<br /> 18 does ordain and enact this chapter regulating and restricting the location, construction and use of buildings,
<br /> 19 structures, and the use of land in the unincorporated portions of the county and dividing the county into
<br /> 20 districts.

<br /> 22 Sec. 30-2. -Applicability.
<br /> 23 All of the towns of the county are subject to county shoreland and floodplain zoning within floodplain
<br /> 24 and shoreland areas described in chapter 22 and chapter 45. Where a county zoning ordinance enacted
<br /> 25 under a statute other than Wis. Stats. § 59.692 is more restrictive, that ordinance shall continue in full force
<br /> 26 to the extent of the greater restrictions.

<br /> 28 Sec. 30-3. - Interpretation and severability.
<br /> 29 The provisions of this chapter shall be held to be minimum requirements, adopted for the promotion
<br /> 30 and protection of the public health, morals, safety, or the general welfare. Whenever the requirements of
<br /> 31 this chapter are in contrast with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted regulations, ordinances, or
<br /> 32 private covenants, the most restrictive, or that imposing the higher standards, shall govern. If any section,
<br /> 33 clause, provision or portion of this chapter is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent
<br /> 34 jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter shall not be affected thereby.
