It
is not clear who made the original OHWM determination on the survey but if it was not DNR/County please submit the
attached Jurisdictional Request Form to Dan (copied on this email).
If the boardwalk is above the OHWM but in a wetland it does not likely need a DNR permit as long as it is no wider than
6' and installed on pilings and not fill. County shoreland zoning standards may also limit the boardwalk. We cannot issue
a permit to fill in this to level the site to create a boardwalk
The bridges both need a bridge individual permit. We will have to consider whether the bridges are an impact to public
navigation so the bridges should have at least a 5' clearance. We are not likely to be able to issue a wetland fill permit
for the bridge approaches.
The gazebo and other work in the shoreland zone will also need county permits.
You can find the bridge application here:
https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Waterways/water levels crossings/crossings.html
and information on wetland permitting here:
https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Wetlands/permits
Please let me know if you have any additional questions
We are committed to service excellence.
Visit our survey at http://dnr.wi.gov/customersurvey to evaluate how I did.
Kathi Kramasz
Phone:(920)893-8531
Kathleen.kramasz@wisconsin.gov
From: Dave Schoenecker<dave@uptownlawyer.com>
Sent: Monday,June 12, 2023 1:10 PM
To: DNR WMS Public Inquiry<DNRWMSPubliclnquiry@wisconsin.gov>
Subject: 29XXX Josephine Drive, Webb Lake,WI; Government Lot 7, Section 33,T41N-R14W,Town of Webb Lake
CAUTION:This email originated from outside the organization.
Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
1
