TaKc IDS 2Z
A * Burnett County Zoning Administration
Burnett County Government Center
7410 COUNTY ROAD K,#120
SIREN,WISCONSIN 54872
PHONE(715)349-2109
FINAL NOTICE OF LAND USE VIOLATION
December 6, 2023
Robert Godee Revocable Trust
5658 W Warwick Ave
Chicago, IL 60634
Hello,
I am again writing to notify you of a violation of Burnett County ordinances that has occurred on your property
at 23966 Camp Dr, Siren WI. The carport was constructed/placed on this property between spring 2018 and
spring 2020 without a land use permit from the county zoning office. As required under section 30-658 of our
ordinances, a land use permit is required for any structure over 100 square feet in size.
Also, it should be noted that this structure does not meet setbacks. You will either need to move the structure
to a compliant location (and obtain a land use permit for the new location) or obtain a variance to keep it at a
reduced setback. A variance also requires a survey to be submitted as part of the request. Attached is a
variance application.
This structure needs to be removed by 1/1/2024 unless you plan to seek a variance. If you plan to seek a
variance then the structure can remain until the variance decision is made, however the variance application
needs to be submitted by 6/15/2024.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact our department, office hours are Monday through Friday
from 8:30-4:30.
Sincerely,
Jason Towne
Zoning Administrator
I spoke to Tim Peterson, 715-308-0302 on 12/29/23 @ 11:30 am. Tim is the neighbor who helps Mr. Godee.
They will figure out a new location on Memorial Day 2024, submit a permit after that, hopefully we would
have the permit issued by July 4, 2024 and then they can move the structure to the new location at that time.
JT
LUP received 7/1/2024. LUP approved 2/24/2024. KT
