Harsdorf, Secretary <br />October 1, 2018 �� �' ��r Zr <br />�aX OCT -3 2018 <br />Robert & Tammy Gustafson <br />Hap's Flip Side Campground <br />10360 Ridge Rd. <br />Danbury, WI 54830 w� <br />WARNING NOTICE TO CEASE ACTIVITY AT UNLICENSED CAMPGROUND <br />The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection <br />(Department) has learned that you may be operating a campground for overnight <br />accommodations at 10360 Ridge Rd, Danbury, WI, without a license as required by law. <br />Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 97.67 and Wis. Admin. Code § ATCP 79.05(1) a permit is <br />required from the Department or its agent in order to operate a campground. The <br />specific language is as follows: "No person may operate a campground without a permit <br />from the department or its agent if any one of the following applies: 1. A person offers or <br />intends to offer 3 or fewer campsites and advertises or otherwise presents to the public <br />an offer of the campground or specific campsites. 2. A person offers or intends to offer <br />4 or more campsites, regardless whether the person advertises or otherwise presents to <br />the public an offer of the campground or specific campsites." <br />You must immediately cease operating the campground as described above until you <br />receive a license from the Department by contacting the Department licensing <br />specialists, via e-mail at datcpdfslicensinq(cbwisconsin.gov or by phone at (608) 224- <br />4923. If you get a voicemail, leave a message and one of the licensing specialists will <br />return your call. Please note that the licensing specialist returns all phone calls and <br />responds to all e-mails in a timely fashion. <br />Before the department can issue a permit you will need to apply for a campground <br />license and will be required to pay all applicable licensing fees, including a $749.00 fee <br />for operating without a license, as prescribed in Wis. Stat. §§ 97.67(4) and (5), and Wis. <br />Admin.
