As you can see the photo comparison is from 2009 where the wetlands were intact, <br />to 2015 when they have now become open water lakes. This is obviously not just a case of high water, as you can also <br />see the brown muck/peat they have deposited near their pit. They are making "topsoil", if that's what you want to call <br />it. <br />I was looking at it from the aspect of their NR135 permit for Non -Metallic Mining and this area will likely be added to <br />their acreage for areas that need to be reclaimed. I have not been back there to take a look at it yet, so I can't say what <br />it looks like now. <br />
