Please print
and maintain a copy of the permit for your records, post a copy of the permit at the work site, and follow all permit
conditions listed. Please review the permit conditions that you are responsible for in order to complete the project
properly.
In addition, please recognize that you are responsible for obtaining all necessary local (e.g. city, town, village or county)
and U.S.Army Corps of Engineers permits or approvals in addition to any applicable state permits prior to commencing
any work at the project site.
NOTE: Some of the properties associated with this permit are located on or near potentially sensitive cultural
resource sites. Because of that they are protected against any unauthorized disturbance under state law. There are
some restrictions required to protect these sites. These apply to the GRIBBLE and RAHN properties at 1129 and 1131
County Road E,as well as any projects in the future on the west side of Middle McKenzie Lake.
• harvesting should only be on well-frozen ground, ideally with snow cover,to prevent soil disturbance (and
no stump pulling, no new road cuts);
• in addition, no vehicles within 10 feet of any burial mound feature.
If you have any questions regarding this permit, please contact me. Thank you for completing this process properly, and
have a nice day!
Nate Walker
Habitat and Outdoor Recreation Team Coordinator—Waterways Bureau
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
1300 W Clairemont Ave
Eau Claire,WI 54701
Cell Phone: (715)492-0243
nathan.walker@wisconsin.gov
dnr.wi.gov
D El
We are committed to service excellence.
Visit our survey at http://dnr.wi.gov/customersurvey to evaluate how I did.
1
