-
LOON LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
3727 Loon Lake Road
Danbury WI 54830
December 13, 2021
RE: LLPOA's Response to VV's Phased in Boat Expansion Plan
Please accept this Response for discussion at the December 13
meeting between representatives of LLPOA and VV.
Without counting any additional boat slips on Loon/Cadotte Lake,
the VV plan calls for the following installation of boat slips as
follows:
2022 — Birch Island Lake-14;
2023- Birch Island Lake — 8; Little Bear — 4; Hanscom — 4,
Shoal — 14 = 30
2024 — Shoal — 14
2025 — Birch Island — 10; Little Bear — 14; Shoal — 14 = 38
VV has described Little Bear as the VV "jewel" lake due to its
clean water and enhanced fish habitat. It is the same size as
Cadotte. Based upon our calculations of boats per acre, comparing
the number of boat slips on Cadotte and Little Bear seems to be a
fair balancing of VV's desire to provide more boat slips vs. the
impact that more boats may have on the water quality of the lakes.
