You are also in violation of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances as well. The specific codes you are in violation of are as follows: WI Administrative Code SPS 383.32 (1)(f): The final discharge of domestic wastewater or POWTS effluent to the ground surface is prohibited, including by means of plumbing outfall pipes existing prior to July 1, 2000. WI Administrative Code SPS 383.21 (1)(b)2: The modification of an existing POWTS may not commence or continue unless the owner of the property on which the POWTS is located possesses a valid sanitary permit and has obtained plan approval for the modification under s. SPS 383.22, if the modification involves the addition or replacement of any of the following:2.A POWTS treatment component. WI Administrative Code SPS 383.54 (4)(d)1.: Except as provided in subd. 3., a POWTS that exists prior to July 1, 2000, and that utilizes a treatment or dispersal component consisting in part of in situ soil shall be visually inspected at least once every 3 years to determine whether wastewater or effluent from the POWTS is ponding on the surface of the ground. WI Administrative Code SPS 383.25(2)(f)1.:A municipality may not issue a building permit for construction of any structure or addition to a structure on a site where there exists a POWTS, unless the proposed construction conforms to the applicable setback limitations under s. SPS 383.43 (8) (i).
