You are <br /> also in violation of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances as well. The specific codes you are in <br /> violation of are as follows: <br /> WI Administrative Code SPS 383.32 (1)(f): The final discharge of domestic wastewater or <br /> POWTS effluent to the ground surface is prohibited, including by means of plumbing outfall <br /> pipes existing prior to July 1, 2000. <br /> WI Administrative Code SPS 383.21 (1)(b)2: The modification of an existing POWTS may not <br /> commence or continue unless the owner of the property on which the POWTS is located <br /> possesses a valid sanitary permit and has obtained plan approval for the modification under s. <br /> SPS 383.22, if the modification involves the addition or replacement of any of the following:2.A <br /> POWTS treatment component. <br /> WI Administrative Code SPS 383.54 (4)(d)1.: Except as provided in subd. 3., a POWTS that <br /> exists prior to July 1, 2000, and that utilizes a treatment or dispersal component consisting in <br /> part of in situ soil shall be visually inspected at least once every 3 years to determine whether <br /> wastewater or effluent from the POWTS is ponding on the surface of the ground. <br /> WI Administrative Code SPS 383.25(2)(f)1.:A municipality may not issue a building permit for <br /> construction of any structure or addition to a structure on a site where there exists a POWTS, <br /> unless the proposed construction conforms to the applicable setback limitations under s. SPS <br /> 383.43 (8) (i). <br />
