Thank you for taking the time to chat with me regarding our situation. The bait shop was converted in 1998 <br /> when the owners at the time needed a place to live while they rebuilt the main house. Sue <br /> Hi Sue, <br /> From my recollection and from the old correspondence this is what I believe happened: <br /> 1- Bait Shop converted to some sort of habitable structure (unsure if dwelling or bunkhouse and unsure of the <br /> year) without proper permits, Survey Map from 2021 shows it as a bunkhouse. This would have required the <br /> following items when it was done: <br /> a. Sanitary system permit for this now habitable dwelling/bunkhouse. <br /> b. Parcel to be divided to allow a second dwelling OR bunkhouse agreement to be recorded if not <br /> dividing into a second parcel. Bunkhouse doesn't allow for rental so it would need to be a dwelling. <br /> c. Land Use permit for converting this structure to a dwelling or bunkhouse. <br /> d. Contact UDC to see if a building permit/inspections would have been required for converting this <br /> structure to a dwelling or bunkhouse. <br /> e. Site address if considered a second dwelling. <br /> 2- Sanitary system upgraded in 2020, called this structure a 1 bedroom dwelling. Item a from above. <br /> 2 <br />
