The enclosed booklet Shoreline Buffer Restoration A Guide for Landowners provides planting <br /> instructions (page 12), a plant list(page 27), and potential sources of native plants (page 19). <br /> Plants should be planted about one foot apart, so you will need about 85 plants to replant the two <br /> feet of the sidewalk in the buffer zone. Additional planting will be required if additional areas <br /> within the no-touch zone are disturbed when the cabin is removed. You could purchase these <br /> plants or transplant from nearby woods. <br /> I am available to answer questions as you complete your buffer restoration.
