TXT-22-01 PROPOSED CAMPGROUND CHANGES FOR 4/5/2022 MEETING <br /> 1 Vacant means a parcel with no habitable structure. <br /> 2 (b) Storage of a camping unit must meet all setback requirements. Prior PUD's with camping units are <br /> 3 allowed to continue under the specific conditions for the PUD. <br /> 4 (1) Campground requirements. <br /> 5 a. Must meet all Wis.Admin. Code ch. ATCP 79 requirements which are enforced by the state <br /> 6 personnel or their designated agent, all sanitary requirements of the county sanitary <br /> 7 ordinance and Wisconsin Administrative Codes, and any other applicable county, state and <br /> 8 federal codes. <br /> 9 b. Minimum size of five acres. <br /> 10 c. Maximum number of sites shall be!five per developable acre. <br /> 11 d. Each site shall be clearly numbered and consistent with the placement shown on the <br /> 12 campground map. <br /> 13 e. A campground map shall be placed on file in the zoning office and shall include the <br /> 14 campground layout, location of campsites, roads, property lines, required setbacks, <br /> 15 structures, water supplies, private waste disposal system, recreation areas and any other <br /> 16 information the land use and information committee shall deem necessary. Any proposed <br /> 17 changes in the approved campground shall be presented to the zoning office for approval. <br /> 18 No implementation of the proposed change shall take place until written approval is received <br /> 19 from the zoning office. <br /> 20 f. Each site shall have sufficient area for one vehicle parking on that site. Rustic/primitive sites <br /> 21 will have sufficient parking area available, this can be onsite or off-site parking. <br /> 22 g. Each camping unit shall meet the setback requirements of 75 feet to the ordinary high-water <br /> 23 mark of any navigable water and there shall be a minimum 50-foot setback from all exterior <br /> 24 lot lines to each camping unit or storage structure or deck/patio. All other setback <br /> 25 requirements of this chapter and other Burnett County Ordinances along with any other <br /> 26 federal,state or local codes shall apply.The land use and information committee may require <br /> 27 additional setback requirements as per conditional use permit. <br /> 28 h. Screening provisions of article VII of this chapter shall apply where the land use and <br /> 29 information committee determines they are needed. <br /> 30 i. Individual site accessory uses require a land use permit and are limited to: <br /> 31 1. Storage structure. Each site may be provided with one storage structure with a footprint <br /> 32 not to exceed 100 square feet and the structure height shall not exceed 12 feet. The <br /> 33 storage structure shall not be used for human habitation. This structure must meet <br /> 34 floodplain requirements from Chapter 22 of the Burnett County Ordinances. These <br /> 35 require a land use permit. <br /> 36 2. Awnings, decks/patios and screen houses. Awnings, decks/patios and screen houses <br /> 37 will be permitted provided they do not exceed the unit size in square feet and in any <br /> 38 event the total area of these uses shall not exceed 200 square feet. These structures <br /> 39 must meet floodplain requirements. These require a land use permit. <br /> 40 j. A separate area may be designated in a campground for group camping in tents; however, <br /> 41 such group camping shall not exceed two weeks in any one time period and no more than <br /> 42 20 tent units per acre shall be permitted. In addition, the group camping area must be <br /> 43 provided with proper sanitary provisions as required by Wis. Admin. Code ch. ATCP 79. <br /> 44 k. A campground may have a home and accessory buildings for the one owner's or one <br /> 45 manager's private use. <br /> 46 I. Campgrounds shall not be expanded except by conditional use permit review. <br /> 47 m. Requires a conditional use permit from the county if any of the following apply: <br /> Page 78 of 91 <br />
