Motion carried,roll call vote. <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #CUP-25-06 — BURNETT COUNTY FOREST Public <br /> notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Roosevelt, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that <br /> Susan Tollander on behalf of Burnett County Forest and Parks has made an application for a <br /> conditional use permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use and Shoreland Protection <br /> Code of Ordinances to develop five primitive campsites on the parcel with address 1788 Boyd <br /> Ln, in the F-1 zoning district, one campsite located in the NW 1/4 of Section 25, one campsite <br /> located on the NW '/4 of the SE '/4 of Section 25, one campsite located in the NE '/4 of Section 26, <br /> one campsite located in the W '/2 of the NE '/4 of Section 36, and one campsite located in the W <br /> '/2 of the SE '/4 of Section 36, T37N, R14W. <br /> Forest Recreation Coordinator Susan Tollander of Burnett County Forest and Parks has proposed <br /> developing five primitive campsites in the Town of Roosevelt Timberland Hills Bike/hike/ski <br /> trails. There would be no motorized vehicles. The campsite would include a picnic table, fire <br /> ring,tent pad and pit toilet. A$5,500.00 grant would go towards the development of this project. <br /> Chairman Conroy stated anyone could camp on County Forest. He asked if there is a limit of <br /> nights that you can camp. <br /> Ms. Tollander stated they could stay for seven nights and a maximum of two tents and six <br /> people. <br /> Supervisor Tucker questioned if the fees cover the costs. <br /> Ms. Tollander stated it does and they split the fees with the Timberland Hills Foundation. The usage of the County Forest has greatly <br /> increased. With more people on the 40 miles of trails, the wildlife has nowhere to go without <br /> crossing a trail.
