Mr. Boehm has asked the committee to delay <br /> this for a year to have a study done on this. <br /> Erik Lindseth, the director for the Timberland Hills Foundation Board stated they operate the ski <br /> trails and bike trails. There are many areas of Timberland Hills that remain remote. The mission <br /> is for families and people to enjoy Timberland Hills. Mr. Lindseth stated they have had a <br /> successful relationship with the County. There is only one camper cabin and it has been very <br /> successful for overnights. This would offer five designated sites to be able to camp in <br /> Timberland Hills. They are only accessible by walking or biking to them. There will be a flat <br /> place to put the tent on, fire pit,privy and picnic table. <br /> Public hearing closed. <br /> Mr. Towne stated there were two correspondence letters received. One individual was opposed <br /> and the other was Michael Hoefs, Barron County Highway Commissioner, just making the <br /> committee aware there is an active gun range that Barron County owns near the proposed <br /> location. If there were concerns, Mr. Hoefs would be agreeable to have the berm on the north end <br /> of the range built higher. <br /> Committee discussion ensued. <br /> Burnett County Staff Report Item — If considering approval then the following item(s) may be <br /> included in the motion; these are part of the guidelines from the staff: <br /> 1.
