STAT. 19.84 OPEN MEETINGS <br /> LAW <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS - THREE MINUTE TIME LIMIT PER PERSON There were no <br /> public comments. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA ORDER Motion to approve the agenda order was made by <br /> Supervisor Moyer, seconded by Supervisor Shimanski. Motion carried, voice vote. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 7, 2025, MEETING Motion to approve <br /> the minutes of October 7, 2025, meeting was made by Supervisor Blomberg, seconded by <br /> Supervisor Tucker. Motion carried,voice vote. <br /> DISCUSS WEST POINT CAMPGROUND Mark Krause of Wagner Surveying, was present <br /> to represent Harold and Dianne McCann, owners of West Point Campground. They would like <br /> to create three lots and keep the campground. Harold McCann explained they have pwned West <br /> Point Lodge for ten years. They are looking to get out of it. He is here to request an acreage <br /> variance. They can meet all the setbacks with the existing campsites but not with the new rules; it <br /> would lower the number of campsites they can have. Mr. Krause submitted a map of the <br /> campground plat to the committee. He explained there would not be enough developable acreage <br /> for the 50 campsites under the new rules. Chairman Conroy suggested doing a condominium <br /> plat, which would not require any oversight beyond the review of the plat. Mr. Krause explained <br /> there is such a large disparity of values out there. Typically to make a condominium and make it <br /> work, you want everyone to be equal. You have the lodge, and some cabins verses the <br /> campground. There is a huge disparity in how you do it, so that's why they would have problems <br /> with the condominium plat to handle this kind of situation. Supervisor Conroy stated this <br /> qualifies under the unique element. Mr. Krause stated there are six cabins and one lodge and we <br /> are looking for three lots. They cannot keep all four cabins on the one lot and they would have to <br /> reduce them to one usable residence there. Chairman Conroy questioned if they would keep the <br />
