I <br /> JUNE MEETING CONTINUED <br /> would like to have the roof repaired , windows fixed and the building painted. <br /> The Board decided that they will try to fix the roof at this time. Mahlen will <br /> contact Sam Williamson as to a price to hot mop the roof. A decision on this <br /> matter will be made at the July meeting. We will try to putty and paint the <br /> windows also. <br /> There was a discussion as to some major road work to be done this year. After <br /> some discussion there was a motion by Gulden, seconded by Gramer that we contact <br /> Burnett County Highway Dept. to have 5 miles of seal coating done. Mahlon will <br /> contact the Highway Dept. and have them come up and go over the roads with us <br /> and make suggestions as to which of our roads should be done first. Mahlon will <br /> check with Ayer as to what can be done with Broaffle Road. They will do what <br /> ever is necessary to make it more passable at this time. <br /> Mahlon stated that there have been a number of people wanting to rent the <br /> usage of the Town Hall chairs. The Board decided that the chairs could not go <br /> out of the Town of Swiss. Residents of the Town of Swiss could use them if they <br /> are checked in and out. <br /> The Clerk presented the Licenses Applications for the Town of Swiss. Lotion <br /> by Gramer, seconded by Gulden to grant all the licenses that were presented_. <br /> A j�st of the licenses will be attached to these minutes. <br /> ere was a discussion about the problem of Y & S dumping in the Town of <br /> Swiss dumps. It causes a lot of problems including the burning of the large <br /> loads. The Board asked that the Clerk write and ask Y & S to come to the <br /> July meeting to discuss this with us. The Board would like to look into the <br /> legal aspect of closing one of the dumps. <br /> Mahlon asked that the Board reconsider the proposal of selling the Dodge <br /> truck now owned by the Town. He stated that Mr. Tom Mahlen would like to make <br /> an offer of $250.00 for the truck and the Town could have the box off from it. <br /> Lotion by Gramer, seconded by Mahlon that Mahlon inspect the truck box on the <br /> Dodge and if the box is in good shape then he can go ahead and offer to sell <br /> the truck to Tom Mahlon for $250.00 and Mahlon will change the box onto the <br /> Ford truck when ever the town wants it done. <br /> Vouchers were presented by the Clerk.
