Planning Committee has completed their review of the Land Use Plan. Motion defeated. <br /> RECESS FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENTS Chairman <br /> Daniels called for a recess of the meeting of the County Board of Supervisors and the Land <br /> Use/Zoning Committee conducted a public hearing on proposed map amendments to the Burnett <br /> County Land Use Ordinance. Following the close of the public hearing, the Land Use/Zoning <br /> Committee met in open session to consider their recommendations on the proposed amendments. <br /> CALL TO ORDER Chairman Daniels called the meeting to order after the public hearing and <br /> the meeting of the Land Use/Zoning Committee. <br /> PETITION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT 2003-05 (David And Rochelle Taylor) The <br /> petition of David and Rochelle Taylor requested to rezone 35.95 acres located in Government <br /> Lot 4, Section 4, T38N R14W, Town of Dewey, from A (Exclusive Agricultural) to A-2 <br /> (Agricultural-Residential with a minimum lot area of 10 acres) zoning district. Supervisor Bohn <br /> reported the applicant withdrew Petition 2003-05. <br /> PETITION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT 2003-06 (Ken Schmitz) The petition of Ken <br /> Schmitz requested to rezone 33.71 acres located in the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Section 26, T38N <br /> R14W, Town of Dewey, from A(Exclusive Agricultural) to A-2 (Agricultural-Residential with a <br /> minimum lot area of 10 acres) zoning district. Supervisor Bohn reported the Land Use/Zoning <br /> Committee recommends Petition 2003-06 be tabled (postponed). A motion was made by <br /> Supervisor Lindeman and seconded by Supervisor Klar to postpone action of Petition for Zoning <br /> Amendment 2003-06. Motion carried. <br /> PETITION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT 2003-07 (Jon Schmitz) The petition of Jon <br /> Schmitz requested to rezone 40 acres located in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Section 26, T38N <br /> R14W, Town of Dewey, from A (Exclusive Agricultural) to A-2 (Agricultural-Residential with a <br /> minimum lot area of 10 acres) zoning district. Supervisor Bohn reported the Land Use/Zoning <br /> Committee recommends Petition 2003-07 be tabled (postponed). A motion was made by <br /> Supervisor Endresen and seconded by Supervisor Poretti to postpone action on Petition for <br /> Zoning Amendment 2003-07. Motion carried. <br /> PETITION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT 2003-08 (Craig Selander) The petition of Craig <br /> Selander requested to rezone 2 acres located in the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 8, T37N <br /> R18W, Town of Trade Lake, from A-2 (Agricultural-Residential) to C-1 (Commercial with a <br /> minimum lot area of 20,000 square feet) zoning district and to rezone 3 acres located in the NW <br /> 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 8, T37N R18W, Town of Trade Lake, from A (Exclusive Agricultural) <br /> to C-1 (Commercial with a minimum lot area of 20,000 square feet) zoning district. Supervisor <br /> Bohn reported the Land Use/Zoning Committee recommends Petition 2003-08 be approved. A <br /> motion was made by Supervisor Alderman and seconded by Supervisor Charles Peterson to <br /> approve Petition 2003-08.
