Burnett County Zoning Administration/`OQ p
7410 County Road K, #102
Siren, Wisconsin 54872
July 30, 1996
Daniel L. Rossow
u , 7
Dear Mr. Rossow:
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
/ l Oj Addre-'s
b / (10 a1) - 1z Ll Ste, o /V%
,!5t- patu, lwp/ 6 57a8-- -3-70/
Phone (715) 349-2138
I am sending this letter to recap our conversation at your property on 7/29/96.
As discussed, the altered or graded area within 40 feet of the ordinary high
water mark of Birch Island Lake must be restored to original grades. All graded
area must be covered with top soil, seeded and mulched or sodded. The remaining
graded area must also be covered with top soil, seeded or mulched.
Once the restoration is completed, a filter fence or row of straw bales must be
placed along the bank towards the lake until the vegetation is reestablished.
This restoration project must be completed by September 6, 1996.
A land use permit must also be secured for the living area above the garage.
Before this can be issued, information regarding your existing sanitary system
must be provided. Because of the sewer system's age, a system evaluation must
be provided by a Wisconsin licensed soil tester. If the system is found to be
noncompliant, a permit for a new system must be secured before the land use /
building permit can be issued. The sanitary system information must also be
provided by Septmeber 6, 1996.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely, Q
Jim Flanigan
Zoning Administrator
JF:sm
