10/3/2019 About Camp Croix-Camp Croix
facilities based on availability.
The Camp Croix Board believes that Camp Croix can enhance the value it provides to the Association
congregations by providing a setting and infrastructure for a broader range of ministry activities, while continuing
and building upon the existing programs of Youth Camp and Family Camp. The Camp Croix Association began a
ministry planning and master planning process during the winter of 2016. Please visit Looking Ahead for additional
information regarding the future of Camp Croix.
The Lodge
The lodge has six bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large gathering area with a large fireplace equipped with a
projector and screen, dining room, screened in porch that overlooks the lake, and a kitchen with appliances and
stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is a commercial kitchen attached to the lodge for those with
larger groups, depending on availability and requirements. The lodge can comfortably sleep nine, three of the
bedrooms have two double beds and two rooms have one double bed. Each bedroom contains dressers.
The large gathering space and dining room makes a perfect place for groups doing retreats, Bible studies, or
devotions. It also provides an indoor setting to eat and enjoy fellowship. The fireplace creates an intimate setting.
There are not many things better than enjoying God's creation in the northwoods around a fire enjoying fellowship
with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! There is heat in the lodge year-round, but it currently does not have
running water or plumbing during the winter months.
The Cabins
There are currently 35 rustic cabins in two groupings on the property. Each cabin is fitted with two bunk beds,
table and chairs, a dresser, and a clothes hanger bar. The cabins have a screen door and windows that open to
allow the cool summer breeze to come through. The cabins do not have running water or heat, but you do have
access to the shower/bathroom facility that is centrally located in the camp.
We have refinished many of the cabins in the recent years. This includes new window treatments, new doors,
flooring, and tongue and groove pine paneling in the interior, Although we cannot guarantee you be placed in a
specific cabin, we try our best to accommodate any requests. We are very excited to get all the cabins refinished
and put new furnishings in each so we can off the same experience for everyone who visits Camp Croix. If you are
interested in sponsoring a cabin or donating, please visit our Cabins or Donation page.
Donate>>>
camperoix.org/about-camp-croix/ 2/4
