(19) LOT, WIDTH: The shortest horizontal straight line measurement <br /> between side lines of a 16C. A lot shall be judged to meet the <br /> minimum width requirement for the district in which it is located, <br /> if the district's width dimensions are maintained from the point(s) <br /> at which the lot's frontage width is determined (waterfront for <br /> shoreline lots and road frontage on all other lots) to the point(s) <br /> at which the lots minimum area requirement has been satisfied; no <br /> additional area of a particular lot in question need meet the <br /> minimum average width requirement. <br /> (20) LOT LINES: Any line dividing one lot from another. <br /> (21) MOBILE HOME: Any structure originally designed to be capable of <br /> transportation by any motor vehicle upon public highway which does <br /> not require substantial on-site fabrication; which is intended for <br /> occupancy as a year-round residence. <br /> (22) NAVIGABLE WATER: Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, all natural inland <br /> lakes within Wisconsin and all streams, ponds, sloughs, flowages <br /> and other waters within the territorial limits of this state, <br /> including the Wisconsin portion of boundary waters, which are <br /> navigable under the laws of this state. <br /> (23) NONCONFORMING USE: A building, structure or use of land existing <br /> at the time of enactment of this ordinance, and which does not <br /> conform to the regulations of the district or zone in which it is <br /> situated. <br /> (24) ORDINARY HIGH WATER MARK (OHWM): The point on the bank or shore up <br /> to which the presence and action of surface water is so continuous <br /> as to leave a distinctive mark such as by erosion, destruction, or <br /> prevention of terrestrial vegetation, predominance of aquatic <br /> vegetation, or other easily recognized characteristics. <br /> (25) PRINCIPAL BUILDING: A building other than accessory structures. <br /> A building in which the principal use of the lot on which it is <br /> located is conducted. <br /> (26) QUARRY: Includes but not limited to sand, gravel and marl pits. <br /> (27) SALVAGABLE MATERIAL: Salvagable material is discarded material no <br /> longer of value as intended, but which is stored or retained for <br /> salvage, sale or future reuse. <br /> (28) SALVAGE YARD: A lot, land or structure, or part thereof, used for <br /> the collecting, storage or sale of waste paper, rags, scrap metal <br /> or discarded material; or for the collecting, dismantling, storage <br /> or salvaging of machinery or vehicles not in running condition or <br /> for the sale of parts thereof. <br /> (29) SEASONAL DWELLING: A dwelling not to be used for year around living <br /> such that would make it necessary to provide services as school <br /> busing, mail carriers, etc. <br /> - 4 - <br />
