Gregory Brady
2243 Tilsen Ave
St. Paul, MN 55119
July 261" 2005
Jim Flanigan
Zoning Administrator
Burnett County Government Center
7410 County Rd K#102
Siren WI 54872
I have received your letter and the enclosed citation for working without a permit. I
never intended to violate the ordinances of Burnett County. It did not occur to me I
needed a permit to build a shed.
I am not done with the construction of the building which I'm sure you saw. I also did not
intend to leave the building where it sits now. It is sitting where it is now because it is out
of the way of the area I planned to place it.
I have discussed this buildings location with my neighbor, Gerald Garnett, and assured
him I am not done working on the building and it will not be left where it sits. I also told
him when I am done the building will meet all minimum setbacks.
I have some questions with regards to the citation and the fines you have levied against
me. I called your office today and was told you would return on Monday August Vt.
I am writing this letter to help resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
1.) I would like to know the reason for your visit to my property. I believe I have the
right to be notified by your office prior to your entry onto my land.
2.) I would like to know why I was not contacted or issued a cease and desist order before
such an extreme measure of issuing a citation was taken against me.
I now am forced to take a day off work to go defend myself in court.
