April 6,2011 <br /> Bumett County—Office of Zoning Administrator <br /> Craig Conroy <br /> 7410 County Road K <br /> No. 102 <br /> Siren,WI 54872 <br /> Dear Craig, <br /> Subject:Addition to 27913 Sand Lake Rd,Webster Wit <br /> Attached under this cover letter, please find the required documentation for zoning review for the above <br /> named address. <br /> Summary of Work to Properly: <br /> New Addition: My Parents anticipate purchasing the existing property described above and request to <br /> construct a 14'x28' addition to the existing structure, remove existing single chord member (un- <br /> insulated) roof joists(3/12 pitch)from the existing cabin and install new Engineered wood roof trusses <br /> at 10/12 pitch to match new addition with integrated floor joists for loft amain center of attic space. Loft <br /> area to be approx 12X28' and to only extend over existing cabin area, not the new addition. The loft <br /> will be used for additional living space. It has been brought to our attention that the existing structure is <br /> Non-Conforming and is subject to Section 10.0 of the Burned County Land Use/Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Based on this knowledge we have sized the addition according to this budget. The existing cabin <br /> structure fair market value is$53,318.00 and our estimate for the new addition w/loft over the existing <br /> cabin is$24,484.00(attached),which is less than 50% of the existing structure value. An attached site <br /> plan shows the relationship of the addition to the existing stricture and the lake and does not encroach <br /> into the required 75'setback from the high watermark. <br /> In addition to the new 14'x28'addition,we also intend to improve the existing structure,zoning approval <br /> not required, but listed to provide you a sense of the total work being completed. (For your information). <br /> Part of the renovation to the existing structure will include but not be limited to the following: <br /> Existing Structure Renovation: Renovate the existing bathroom and kitchen area, add an additional <br /> bedroom and utility room, remove existing windows and replace with new Low-E insulated windows, <br /> remove and replace siding to match new addition,re-roof to match new addition, repair chimney. <br /> The existing Garage and shed will remain as is. It is our intent to install a drain field to the existing <br /> 2,000 gallon septic tank, but more information and investigation is required to determine exact location. <br /> Please review this information and let me know if you have any questions.
