Mr. <br /> Lambrecht is asking for two days a week for five hours per day to use his track. The wildlife has <br /> not been affected by this. He would like the committee to grant him this CUP to pursue his <br /> interest. <br /> Supervisor Conroy requested Mr. Lambrecht to come back for questioning after the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Public hearing open. <br /> Kyle Lindner stated there seems to be intolerance for this. He is asking for two days a week to <br /> run the track for family and friends. Mr. Lambrecht pays taxes and maintains his property. This <br /> is a small field that is sand based and there is nothing that can grow. Mr. Lindner stated he has <br /> lost four acquaintances to drugs and alcohol. This is a healthy activity to give the youth <br /> something to do. <br /> Brentley Easton stated he rides dirt bike with his father and brother. Family is not defined by <br /> blood. He is supposed to feel safe and at peace. Some peaceful activities are hunting, <br /> snowboarding and snowmobiling. The neighbors rode a motorized vehicle on their property. <br /> Joseph Gohlike has property '/o mile east. He is a hunter and hunts three months a year. Mr. <br /> Gohlike has been bow hunting for 35 years and never had a problem finding bucks but now he <br /> does not see them. Their motorcycles are very loud and several neighbors are opposed to this. <br /> Should he sell his property, what will the property value be? <br /> Zach Fagan stated his parents' property butts up to this property. Mr. Fagan disapproves of this <br /> CUP. It is non-conforming within the zoning district. This is a nuisance in the surrounding area. <br /> He decides not to come up to visit his property because of the noise and it is intolerable. This is <br /> non-conforming. <br /> Bryan Tillman is an attorney and is speaking on behalf of Brad and Gina Johnson, neighboring <br /> property owners. This is zoned A-2 and the racetrack is not a permitted use. It has to be similar <br /> for the use. This does not belong on an A-2 zoning district. The family has had the property for <br /> 100 years. Mr. Tillman is concerned about noise pollution. This does not fit with the County <br /> Comprehensive Plan and does not belong in A-2. <br /> Greg Widiker is an adjoining landowner and submitted a map to the committee. His property is <br /> 70 feet from the track. Mr. Widiker stated this is a residential use. Mr. Widiker shared a video of <br /> the noise from the track with his iPhone. Deny this CUP. This is excessive noise pollution. <br /> Shawn Stevens stated he has been on a bike his whole life. Mr. Stevens thanked the Lambrechts <br /> for building the track. He was a heavy drinker and since this track, he has been sober. The closest <br /> track is two hours away. He is lucky to have this track. <br /> Nicholas Spafford stated his family and kids have the opportunity to ride motocross. This is not a <br /> commercial track. He built this track for friends and family. Were there meetings on ATV trails <br /> and snowmobile trails? There are no wildlife issues. They are asking for two days and 10 hours. <br /> This is an opportunity for friends and family. He pays taxes just like everybody else. <br /> William Arnold, III stated he is in support of Craig Lambrecht. <br />
