June 4, 2024 <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #CUP-24-10 — GUSTAFSON Public notice is hereby given <br /> to all persons in the Town of Meenon, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Mike Gustafson has <br /> made an application for a conditional use permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use <br /> Code of Ordinances to construct a building to be used for rental storage units on the parcel with <br /> address 6960 State Rd 70, in the A-2 zoning district, Lot 3 CSM Vol. 11 Pg. 25, in the SW '/< of <br /> the SW '/, Section 34, T39N, R16W. <br /> Mike Gustafson has requested to construct a rental storage building for 20 storage units. This <br /> would mainly be for campers to store their boats and ATVs/UTVs. <br /> Chairman Conroy questioned where the access would be. <br /> Chairman Conroy suggested getting approval from the Town of Meenon. The committee should <br /> postpone until next month. <br /> Mr. Towne suggested if the Town of Meenon objects they could revisit this and if they approve <br /> they could move forward. <br /> Committee discussion ensued on property driveway access. <br /> Public hearing open. <br /> There were no public comments. <br /> Public hearing closed. <br /> Committee discussion ensued. <br /> Mr. Towne read correspondence from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. <br /> Burnett County Staff Report Item — If considering approval then the following item(s) may be <br /> included in the motion; these are part of the guidelines from the staff: <br /> 1. Need a site address (if the access is from Kruger Road). <br /> 2. Septic system to be serviced and reported to the county by 9/1/2024. <br /> 3. Resolve access concerns with Wisconsin DOT. <br /> 4. Obtain Land Use Permit prior to construction. <br /> 5. Follow all sign regulations. <br /> 6. Follow all local, county, state and federal requirements for this activity. <br /> Motion to approve Conditional Use Permit #CUP-24-10 — Gustafson and to include staff <br /> recommendations and the condition that the Town of Meenon approves this request was made by <br /> Supervisor Tucker, seconded by Supervisor Chuck Anderson. Motion carried, roll call vote. <br /> Motion to amend to add an additional condition that minimum vegetative screening should be <br /> maintained was made by Supervisor Karen Laqua Anderson. Motion is withdrawn. <br />
